One long inquiry into how ideas shape bodies, places and the future.
Through research, writing and creative practice, I follow the relationships between narrative, environment, embodiment, material culture and responsibility. Some inquiries become essays. Others become garments, installations, lectures or poems. The medium changes. The inquiry does not.
Ideas become worlds.
Ideas are rarely abstract. They become institutions, landscapes, habits, economies, laws and objects. They shape how we imagine health, nature, belonging, justice and the future — long before we notice their influence.
My work follows these movements. It moves between scholarship and public practice, using research, writing, design and making as different ways of investigating the same questions. Whether the material is a historical archive, an environmental question, a garment or a poem, I am interested in how ideas travel through the world — and what they make possible.
I do not organize this practice by discipline. I organize it by inquiry. This site is the archive of that ongoing conversation.

A curated cross-section of research, writing, exhibitions and creative practice. Each project begins with research and finds the medium best suited to continue the inquiry — so the archive makes no distinction between "academic" and "creative" work.
FROM STUDIO TO STREETEvery piece here was drawn, draped and stitched by hand.
No algorithms, no drop-shipping. The sketchbooks, calico toiles and studio fittings are the receipts — proof of a slow, human, located practice evolved over time.
aboutI am an interdisciplinary researcher, writer and maker working at the intersection of environmental humanities, rhetoric, decolonial thought, material culture and embodied practice.
The practice was built across industry, design and academia. Work in waste management first introduced me to systems thinking and material responsibility. Studies in Integrated Media and Critical & Cultural Practices at Emily Carr University of Art + Design expanded that into interdisciplinary creative work. My current studies at the University of Oslo span global intellectual history, environmental humanities, green criminology, women's law and human rights, Indigenous rights, and rhetoric & communications.
Across these fields I return to a single question: what happens when ideas become worlds?
Research, writing and making are not separate careers. They are different methods of pursuing the same inquiry.
